Values and Motives Inventory – VMI
The VMI assesses personal values and motivating factors. When we understand a person’s energies and drives, then we can pinpoint where they are likely to gain most satisfaction and make the biggest contribution at work.
The VMI is a normative self-report questionnaire which profiles a person’s motivations to determine the amount of energy and discretionary effort they are likely to expend in different activities in the workplace.
We find an almost 50/50 split of requests for VMI assessments between organisations making selection and promotion decisions, and individuals looking for guidance in making their future careers a rewarding experience during outplacement and career transition programmes.
As with all assessment products promoted by us, the VHI measure candidates against an appropriate New Zealand norm-group and has passed stringent tests of their reliability and validity.
