HRINZ Hawke’s Bay is pleased to announce its next event on 6 September,
with Sandra Lyall – Leadership Pathways.
Senior HR Manager at ANZ National, Sandra is part of a strategy to engage and inspire their people to execute the business strategy and deliver sustained results and outcomes. Sandra will overview the ANZ Leadership Pathway programme that focuses on developing flexible, versatile leaders who think and act with a ‘wide angle lens’ to connect people to business and the world to their customers. She will overview an approach to L & D, and share information on this Leadership Pathways programme.
Sandra will also discuss ANZ’s revolutionary approach to succession planning and talent management which involves a people planning process that starts with line manager assessment of capability, potential and succession bench strength of their team. This information feeds into senior leadership teams to build an integrated view of capability, potential and succession bench strength for business units, countries and the whole organisation.

About the Presenter
Sandra Lyall is currently Senior HR Manager at ANZ overseeing central functions (all finance, technology operations, risk and all other support functions within ANZ nationwide). She is part of a team of approximately 80 HR people who work within an HR shared service model that includes HR services delivered from Manila and Bangalore. Prior to ANZ she was HR manager for Unisys NZ, a US multinational professional service IT company, and HR Manager at Fonterra. Her roles have included advisory, remuneration, international assignments management and business partnering.
